9 year Anniversary Fundraiser For Overture with the Arts ( Pierrefonds)

Join us on Saturday, April 21st from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at the Pierrefonds Cultural Centre as we celebrate 9 years of success! Hosted by the Global Morning Show host Kim Sullivan, guests will enjoy a meal and a live music performance by youth who participated in our Girls Unite program; a female empowerment music production program. Additionally, four local comedians will add to the excitement of the night and the lineup includes host Walter J. Lyng, opening acts Reese Turner, Amanda McQueen and Aba Atlas and headliner David Pryde. David Pryde has been delivering his intelligent, original brand of stand-up comedy for the past decade, both in hometown Montreal and across the country. He’s appeared at the Just forLaughs Festival, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and has been nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award. He’s also heard regularly on CBC Radio’s “The Debaters”. He lives in Montreal with a wife, son, daughter and tape recorder, which he’s known the longest.

Lastly, there will be a silent auction with fantastic items for guests to bid on. All of the proceeds from the night will go towards funding our after school program A.S.A.P (After School Arts Program), which is a free program for high school students who have an interest in dance, music and visual arts.
