Kids have been throwing imaginary tea parties for many generations. In this class, your little chef gets the chance to make that fantasy a little more real. They’ll work with you to prepare a couple of classic tea party-style dishes, including Feta & Cucumber-Filled Watermelon Cups; Tortilla Pinwheel Sandwiches; and refreshing Iced Tea to wash it all down.

Westisland Art Hive

The West Island Art Hive is a community art studio that offers to the public an opportunity to create, connect and collaborate. It is a non-profit program that provides space and art supplies for people of all ages to come together and express themselves in various forms of art.It is NOT an art-course and no instruction will be offered. Cooking Class: Cake Decorating for Mother’s Day

Children will learn to decorate a beautiful cake for Mother’s Day. They will start with a two-layer cake and basic icing. Our animator will demonstrate simple decorating techniques that will transform these cakes into holiday creations by using colourful icing, candies and small toys. The children will use crayons to make their gift complete by decorating their cake box.

Geordie Theatre: Beethoven Lives Upstairs
