Animal Barn and Farm Yard Fun

The Animal Barn is host to a great number of animals, many of which are rare breeds. Our animals include pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, a donkey, a llama, goats, and a horse.

Outside, visit our new play yard adapted for all age groups. We offer activities for young and older kids including a straw castle, hay slide, tire pyramid, duck races, a mini-maze and a labyrinthe.

While you visit the farm, drop in to the Bakery Barn where we have fresh baked pies, muffins, cookies and more made from produce grown on the farm.

Time: 9:00am to 5:00pm

Cost: $5 per person (over 2yrs old)

Painting Workshop

Each week, discover a new Canadian artist, then learn to make your own unique masterpiece.

Two times: 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.

Scavenger Hunt

Come and join the Family Resource Center’s first ever Scavenger Hunt!! This event is open to all ages, as long as every child under 16 is accompanied by an adult. There’s a chance to win fun prizes for great cause!

Camping Cookout- Cooking Class

Please Note – This is a drop off program We may not be able to actually have a campfire going in our class, but the meal that your youngster will be creating with our guidance will definitely put them in a camping frame of mind. Their fireside favourites will include flavourful Foil-Baked Campfire Nachos; hearty Sausage & Veggie Foil Packets; Baked Campfire-Style Corn; and luscious Baked Chocolate & Marshmallow-Stuffed Banana S’mores.
