Polaris Show (Montreal)

James, a travelling penguin from the South Pole, and Vladimir, a funny bear from the North Pole, meet on the Arctic sea ice. The two are amateur astronomers, trying to solve the mystery of why the night is so long at the Earth’s poles. In an exciting scientific adventure, they build an observatory and then an improvised spaceship. During a trip around the Earth, extended to Mars and Saturn, they get their answer and discover that the planets have similarities but also differences.

With her works, Cara Carmina portrays the beauty of simply transforming a piece of paper or fabric into something extraordinary. Her art is expressive, colourful, and whimsical. This exhibit will feature her illustrations in various books, as well as some “Frida” dolls.

Sensory Screening Friendly Movies (kirkland)

Cineplex Entertainment in partnership with Autism Speaks Canada is delighted to present Sensory Friendly Screenings. This program provides a sensory friendly environment for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or anyone for whom the environment is suitable and their families to view new release films in theatres across the country.

These screenings are presented in a lights up, sound down environment. These screenings will take place approximately every 4-6 weeks on Saturday mornings at 10:30AM. Ticket price is the child admission price for any guests attending these screenings.

Montreal Canada Day Parade (Montreal)
