How does an artwork take form? From the original spark to public presentation, kids will learn about the various stages of the creative process through the work of Randall Anderson. Raise a Food Lover : Passport to Italy

In this interactive, hands-on class, you and your child will learn proper cooking techniques and healthy ingredient choices so that you can create nutritious, family-friendly dishes at home.

This month, travel to Italy and learn about it’s culture, sample some foods unique to the region, and learn to cook some of these dishes.

West Island Art Hive

A community art studio that offers the public an opportunity to create, connect, collaborate.

This non-profit program provides a space and art supplies for people of all ages to come together and express themselves in various forms of art.

This is not an art course with instruction but, instead, an opportunity for children, teens, parents, grandparents and groups to spend the afternoon creating together, letting their imaginations run free, in a welcoming environment that fosters community amongst artists of all ages and skills levels.

Sugaring Off at Morgan Arboretum

Celebrate the return of springtime in our sugar maple grove, one of the few remaining on the Island of Montreal. Enjoy a wagon ride to our sugar house and learn how syrup is made in the traditional way: on a wood fire, from sap collected in buckets. German sausages, hotdogs, drinks and, of course, taffy on snow will be sold at a nominal charge. Freshly made maple syrup will also be sold onsite! This is, for the most part, an outdoor event. No reservations. First come, first served.
