Univers Choco at Grevin Montreal

Until April 13, a chocolate world takes over the Museum! You are invited to come and discover this space dedicated to chocolate which will offer free activities offered every Saturday, tastings, workshops and conferences to learn more about chocolate and its different varieties, giant games and more. Something to satisfy cocoa lovers!

Chocolats Favoris is the heart of the installations with its effigy. Among these we will find, among other things, a freelance space that will allow visitors to win samples, a giant puzzle, a pocket game and “Photo Booths” including some accessories for the greatest pleasure of the participants. It will also be possible to learn more about the history of chocolate and Chocolats Favoris with an “encyclopedia” display case, a boat navigating in a cocoa-colored river including a reading corner and books, several “fun facts” as well as a timeline.

Little Dreamers Activity (Pointe Claire)

Join us on Friday, March 6th, at 11am or 2pm us for demos and PAW Patrol and Peppa Pig activities. Then get creative and make your own Play-Doh sushi! Perfect for ages 3+. Some activities have limited supplies and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis, for both 11am and 2pm activities. Family Beach Party (Dorval)

On the agenda: Giant palm trees, beach balls, flamingos, inflatable pool games, face painting, arts and crafts, wax hands, music, and more surprises!

Hawaiian leis will be given to all in a festive atmosphere, and there will be a photoshoot in the lobby shark tank! There will be prizes for the best costumes, so come dressed in your favorite beachwear!

Exotic juices, popcorn, slush, slices of pizza, and a candy bar will also be offered at a cost of $1.

Between 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., in one half of the gymnasium, you can enjoy an open gym period with animators to supervise various activities.

Registration
Registration will be possible in person only, at the DASC, the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre, and the Surrey Aquatic and Community Centre as of February 17, at 8:30 a.m., for Dorval residents and February 24, at 8:30 a.m., for non-residents. A bracelet will then be given in order to be identified and to give access to the activities. Spaces are limited!

First Fridays at St. Columba (Pointe Claire)

Love has many different forms, shapes and sizes,

but is around us all the time.

Despite all our differences, love is the universal bond.

It never melts.

However, you can let your daily worries melt away by coming to St. Columba’s First Fridays community supper on March 6 to celebrate love. The celebration begins at 5:30 pm with snacks for all, as well as LOVEly activities for the kids – but come when you can. All are welcome – younger and older.

Our wonderful supper worth melting for is served around 6:30 pm. It is BYOB with juice, water and coffee always available as well as vegetarian options. The suggested donation is $8 per adult, but give what you can. Kids are free.
