Animal Barn and Farm Yard Fun

The Animal Barn is host to a great number of animals, many of which are rare breeds. Our animals include pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, a donkey, a llama, goats, and a horse.

Outside, visit our new play yard adapted for all age groups. We offer activities for young and older kids including a straw castle, hay slide, tire pyramid, duck races, a mini-maze and a labyrinthe.

While you visit the farm, drop in to the Bakery Barn where we have fresh baked pies, muffins, cookies and more made from produce grown on the farm.

Baby Rhyme Time

Babies and their caregivers will enjoy a session of rhymes, songs, and books, followed by free play with toys for the little ones and coffee for the grown-ups.

Space is limited. Advance registration is required.

Time: 10:15am to 11:00am

EXPO FOR KIDS:THE CONTINUITY OF MOVEMENT – TAKE 2

In the fall of 2016, students from Pointe-Claire elementary schools discovered 17 artworks from their city’s permanent collection when they visited The Continuity of Movement exhibition.

Teachers joined in the process by adopting one of these artworks so that their students might experience it on a daily basis. Over a period of eight weeks, students became familiar with it, looked it over from every possible angle, and were inspired by it. The Continuity of Movement…. Take 2 is the result of their daily contact with art.

Crazy for Noodles: Toddler Cooking Class

The activity of sheep shearing is ideal for the whole family. Come and learn more about why we have to shear our sheep every year, what are the benefits, how it’s done, what the wool is used for, etc. You can get an up close look at the sheep and watch a farmer do the shearing.

Afterward, spend some time visiting the farm’s other animals.

While the farm is open throughout the day, sheep shearing demonstrations will only take place at hourly, on the hour, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
