Polaris Show (Montreal)

James, a travelling penguin from the South Pole, and Vladimir, a funny bear from the North Pole, meet on the Arctic sea ice. The two are amateur astronomers, trying to solve the mystery of why the night is so long at the Earth’s poles. In an exciting scientific adventure, they build an observatory and then an improvised spaceship. During a trip around the Earth, extended to Mars and Saturn, they get their answer and discover that the planets have similarities but also differences.

Expo for Kids: Frida in Full Colour (Pointe Claire)

With her works, Cara Carmina portrays the beauty of simply transforming a piece of paper or fabric into something extraordinary. Her art is expressive, colourful, and whimsical. This exhibit will feature her illustrations in various books, as well as some “Frida” dolls.

Where: Pointe-Claire Cultural Centre, Stewart Hall, 176 Lakeshore Rd.

Spring into Summer Family Fun Fair (Pierrefonds)


Overture with the Arts (OWTA) is back with another exciting event – Our 2nd Annual Spring into Summer Family Fun Fair. On Saturday, May 25th we’re hosting an outdoor event at Riverdale High School on the football field. We’ll have vendors, food, music and dance performances, bouncy castles, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting and more! If the weather doesn’t cooperate the event will be indoors in the school’s gym.
