The Animal Barn is host to a great number of animals, many of which are rare breeds. Our animals include pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, a donkey, a llama, goats, and a horse.

Outside, visit our new play yard adapted for all age groups. We offer activities for young and older kids including a straw castle, hay slide, tire pyramid, duck races, a mini-maze and a labyrinthe.

While you visit the farm, drop in to the Bakery Barn where we have fresh baked pies, muffins, cookies and more made from produce grown on the farm.

Baby Rhyme Time

Babies and their caregivers will enjoy a session of rhymes, songs, and books, followed by free play with toys for the little ones and coffee for the grown-ups.

Space is limited. Advance registration is required.

EXPO FOR KIDS:THE CONTINUITY OF MOVEMENT – TAKE 2

In the fall of 2016, students from Pointe-Claire elementary schools discovered 17 artworks from their city’s permanent collection when they visited The Continuity of Movement exhibition.

Teachers joined in the process by adopting one of these artworks so that their students might experience it on a daily basis. Over a period of eight weeks, students became familiar with it, looked it over from every possible angle, and were inspired by it. The Continuity of Movement…. Take 2 is the result of their daily contact with art.

Family Fun Day

Families can spend the day celebrating with inflatables, face painting and henna, a reading tent, crafts, animals, basketball, animators and live shows. Refreshments will be sold on site.

Raise a Food Lover: Passport to Asia

In this interactive, hands-on class, you and your child will learn proper cooking techniques and healthy ingredient choices so that you can create nutritious, family-friendly dishes at home. This month, travel to Asia and learn about it’s culture, sample some foods unique to the region, and learn to cook some of these dishes.

Splendid Spring Birds

The best way to become familiar with birds is to head out and observe them. Come and search far and wide for as many spring migrants as possible and learn about their natural history and discover the diversity of bird life in Quebec.

Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing, including footwear suitable for a 5km walk and remember to bring binoculars, field guides, water and a snack.

First Edition Bicycle Collection

Margaret Manson Elementary School Environment Club is collecting used bikes for Cyclo Nord-Sud.

Cyclo Nord-Sud’s mission is to collect used bicycles and donate them to underprivileged communities in the developing world where they serve as tools for promoting local development. We’ve shipped more than 55,000 bikes to 19 developing countries these past 16 years, mostly to rural areas in Latin America and Africa, where mobility can be a major factor in determining one’s quality of life.
