James, a travelling penguin from the South Pole, and Vladimir, a funny bear from the North Pole, meet on the Arctic sea ice. The two are amateur astronomers, trying to solve the mystery of why the night is so long at the Earth’s poles. In an exciting scientific adventure, they build an observatory and then an improvised spaceship. During a trip around the Earth, extended to Mars and Saturn, they get their answer and discover that the planets have similarities but also differences.

Tree Decorating Contest(Pointe Claire)

Join us for our Favourite Christmas Tree Competition and vote for your favourite tree. Come and encourage our community organizations! Votes will be taken place at Plaza Pointe-Claire or on the Facebook page of the event from November 29 to December 13. Photos will be published the day of the event. The winning community organization will be announced on December 16 and will receive $ 500 generously donated by the merchants of Plaza Pointe-Claire.
