Polaris Show (Montreal)

James, a travelling penguin from the South Pole, and Vladimir, a funny bear from the North Pole, meet on the Arctic sea ice. The two are amateur astronomers, trying to solve the mystery of why the night is so long at the Earth’s poles. In an exciting scientific adventure, they build an observatory and then an improvised spaceship. During a trip around the Earth, extended to Mars and Saturn, they get their answer and discover that the planets have similarities but also differences.

Beaconsfield Pet Fair

This event serves to promote companion animal adoption in a fun family-friendly atmosphere. Over 16 animal rescue groups with their adoptable animals, and many pet-related businesses will be on site. There will be free face painting for the kids, blessing of the pets, and dog agility demonstrations will be going on throughout the event. Our popular vegan pop-up food kiosk will return once again this year, with Claude Lynn and Anne serving up their yummy plant-based delights ($). Come by and taste their offerings, as they will once again be donating all profits from the day to an animal rescue group in particular need.

8th Annual Family Fun Fair (Pointe Claire)

On Sunday, September 8th, families will have the opportunity to visit with close to 30+ local vendors from the West Island to see what kinds of products and services they offer. It’s a great opportunity for moms and dads to learn about what is available to them in their local area and perhaps to do a little shopping.
