We are so excited for the new movie ” Peter Rabbit” that hopped into theatres yesterday, that we decided to have a super fun Tea Party In Peter’s Honour.

To honour Peter Rabbit we had some tea and  yummy Cupcakes in celebration of his new movie in theatres yesterday! Who is excited to see #PeterRabbitTheMovie?

Be sure to head to the mall and pick up your own Ty Beanie baby Collectible Peter Rabbit Plush Doll. They are just too cute for words!

Here is a synopsis of what this cute movie is all about:

Peter Rabbit, the mischievous and adventurous hero who has captivated generations of readers, now takes on the starring role of his own irreverent, contemporary comedy with attitude. In the film, Peter’s feud with Mr. McGregor (Domhnall Gleeson) escalates to greater heights than ever before as they rival for the affections of the warm-hearted animal lover who lives next door (Rose Byrne).  James Corden voices the character of Peter with playful spirit and wild charm, with Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Daisy Ridley performing the voice roles of the triplets, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail.

All winter long, children aged 5 to 8 will be able to have lots of fun while learning how to snowboard for free in Centennial Park in Dollard-des-Ormeaux. This initiative of the Association des stations de ski du Québec (ASSQ—Quebec Ski Area Association), adored by children and parents alike, is offered every Saturday and Sunday until March 11. Guided by dynamic instructors, children will learn how to snowboard step by step in an environment specifically designed for learning.

This is a free introduction session with dynamic ski and snowboard leaders, dedicated to children from 5 to 8 years old, where full equipment is provided (skis, boots and helmets). Children learn the different stages of skiing or snowboarding, make their first turns, and experience the joy of sliding, in an environment designed for learning. Each participant receives a “Mysnow Experience Package” for a free mountain initiation. The Mysnow Experience programs take place on weekends for the general public, in one of these urban sites developed by the ASSQ:

LAVAL at Centre de la nature from January 6 to March 11, 2018 : ski and snowboard

DOLLARD-DES-ORMEAUX at Centennial Park  from January 6 to March 11, 2018 : snowboard only
Saturday and Sunday

The accessories and colourful décor will pique their curiosity and create a pleasant atmosphere. In addition, parents will be able to see the pride and smiles on their children’s faces. During this initiation of about one hour, all equipment, including the helmet, is provided. For opening hours, visit www.mysnow.ski

These sessions are offered  every Saturday and Sunday from 10AM to 3PM.

The initiation can continue on the slopes. With their My Snow Experience initiation, children will receive a My Snow Experience initiation package for free. With this package, children will have the opportunity to take a skiing or snowboarding initiation course directly on a mountain. Guided by qualified instructors, they will discover the pleasure of skiing or snowboarding on a real mountain. With the activation code indicated on the ski ticket you receive during the initiation, you will be able to make your reservation online with a participating ski area.

One of our Mommy fans has shared this info with us along with some photos of her experience with her child trying out this super fun FREE activity. Be sure to check it out and head over to Centennial park in DDO till March 11.

Initiation Day, on February 11, 2018

To pursue the joys of winter by introducing children to skiing or snowboarding, more than 40 ski resorts in Quebec offer a day where initiation lessons are completely free for 5 to 8 year olds, including equipment and helmet. This is another opportunity to introduce toddlers. Registration required at least 36 hours in advance at www.initiation.maneige.ski.
