St-Patricks-Day-Hotels1Spring is in the air and St-Patrick’s Day is just around the corner! Time to get out your green attire and celebrate with the Irish!

In the West Island, there is an annual parade that takes place in Hudson, but we cannot forget about the big one that takes place downtown. Here are the details of each parade:

 

Hudson St-Patrick’s Day Parade:

When: Saturday, March 19th, 2016

Time: Begins at 1 pm

Length of Parade: About a half hour

Route: starts at Westwood Senior High School, 69 Cote St-Charles, then runs along Main Road and ends in front of Cunninghams Pub on the corner of Cameron and St-Jean.

**This year, Ted Bird will be the Grand Marshal!

 

Montreal’s Downtown St-Patrick’s Day Parade:

When: Sunday, March 20th, 2016

Time: Begins at 12 pm

Length of Parade: 2 hours

Route: Begins at Fort and Ste-Catherine, runs along Ste-Catherine and ends at Phillips Square.

 

The previous weekend, there will be a St-Patrick’s Day parade in Chateauguay for anyone that doesn’t mind driving out a bit further. Here are the details:

When: Sunday, March 13th, 2016

Time: 1 pm

Length of Parade: 1 hour

Route: Begins at Yvon and boul. D’Anjou, runs along boul. D’Anjou to Normand St. and ends at Citizen’s Square.

 

Whichever event you attend, don’t forget to wear something GREEN! The local Dollarama’s are filled with some fun hats and necklaces that you can wear. So, come out and have some fun for St-Patrick’s Day!
