Winter Farm Tour (Ile Bizard)

Enjoy a slice of a farmer’s life; join us at Project PACE for a guided and interactive Winter Farm Tour! 

You will have the chance to feed and pet all of our animals: ducks, bunnies, chickens, goats, sheep, alpacas, miniature horses and a miniature cow!

Don’t forget to give our lovely farm dog, Ava, a hug!

Optional Activity – Walk with the Animals

If you’re interested in a little more adventure, join us for a walk with our animals. We take a stroll into the woods, where the frost-covered trees and glittering snow transport you into a winter wonderland. The optional activity starts right after the tour is over.

Details

  • The tour is suitable for children aged 2 and up.
  • We recommend the optional walk with the animals for children that can walk on their own.
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • The tour lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour
  • The optional walk with the animals lasts about 20 minutes.
  • Please be sure to be on time in order not to miss part of the tour.
  • Everyone should be comfortable with free-range animals. 
  • Each tour has a maximum capacity of 15 participants.

Schedule

  • Winter Farm Tours take place from mid-December until mid-March.
  • As of December 17th:
    • Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 10 AM. 
    • Saturdays and Sundays at 10 AM and 3 PM.

Winter Break Schedule

  • Every day from December 24th until January 8th at 10 AM and 3 PM.
  • No afternoon tours on December 24th and December 31st, and no morning tours on January 1st. 

We have additional timeslots available in our Petting Zoo activity

Booking and Prices

  • Please book online.
  • One ticket per person (ages 2 & up) is required.
  • A ticket for the Winter Farm Tour costs 12$ including tax.
  • For groups of 5 or more people, each ticket costs 10$.
  • If you want to book a private tour, simply purchase 15 tickets.
  • The cost of the optional Walk with the Animals is 5$ per person. 

What to Wear 

  • As this is an outdoor activity, wear winter outdoor clothes and boots that you don’t mind getting dirty.
  • We recommend using a sled and/or a carrier (front or back) for young children. Do not use a stroller.

What to Bring

  • For feeding ducks, you can bring raw veggies & fruits cut into tiny pieces. Ducks love lettuce, cucumbers, apples, cabbage, broccoli, and leafy greens.
  • For feeding bunnies, goats, sheep, horses, cow & alpacas, you can bring raw veggies & fruits cut into big pieces. These animals love carrots, celery, lettuce, apples, cabbage, broccoli, and leafy greens. 
    • Do not feed goats cucumbers or zucchini.
