CP Holiday Train 2023 IS BACK!!

The Holiday Train Schedule is BACK and the schedule is out!!!

Have you ever taken the family to see the CP Holiday Train? It’s a great way to kick off  the Holiday season! As packed and crazy it can be, it’s so much fun. One year it even snowed which made it more magical. If crowds are not your thing, you can stand at one of the train stations along the 20 like Pointe Claire, Cedar park and you can watch the train drive by lit up. By not being at the beaconsfield train station, you miss out on the entertainment, food donations and much more.

This year the train will be arriving in Beaconsfield on Tuesday November 21 at 8:30pm.

The 2023 CPKC Holiday Train tours Canada and the United States Nov. 20 through Dec. 19, raising money, food and awareness for the important work that food banks do in their communities. Professional musicians play free concerts from the brightly decorated train’s stage. CPKC makes a donation to the local food shelf at each stop and encourages attendees to also donate.

Since its inception in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $22.5 million and more than 5 million pounds of food for community food banks across North America.

This year’s Holiday Train tour will include 191 live music shows in six provinces and 14 states. For the first time, the Holiday Train will host shows in Pittsburg, Kan., Joplin, Mo., Heavener, Okla., Mena, Ark., Texarkana, Texas, and Shreveport, La. Performing on the Holiday Train will be Virginia to Vegas, Trudy, Anyway Gang, Tyler Shaw, Kiesza, Seaforth, Tenille Townes, Breland, MacKenzie Porter and Dallas Smith.

Additionally, the Holiday Express train will make 20 public stops across CPKC’s network in Louisiana, Missouri and Texas. The festive six-car Holiday Express train with intricate displays inside and out will bring Santa Claus and his elves to visit children and families as it continues its tradition of giving to The Salvation Army.

A full schedule and details of this year’s Holiday Train and Holiday Express train is available at cpkcr.com/holidaytrain.

Holiday Train shows are free to attend. CP asks attendees to bring a cash or non-perishable food donation if they’re able. Local food shelves will set up collection stations at each event, with all donations made staying with the local food bank to help people in need in the community. Because local food shelves buy food at a discount, cash donations can go further than food donations to help those in need.
