Fete Nationale du Quebec and Canada Day Festivities 2025


Here are the list of activities happening around the west island and Montreal for St. Jean Baptiste. If it should rain, many cities will postpone. This website will not be updated minute to minute. NOT all activities are taking place on the 24th or July 1st. Be aware of the dates.



Monday June 23


Dollard des Ormeaux

Celebrate your province’s national holiday together with members of your community, and enjoy all the free family activities that we have planned for this occasion, such as:

– inflatable games
– airbrush tattoos
– ports and games organized by Action Jeunesse de l’Ouest-de-l’Île (AJOI) and Initiative Go DDO
– DJ with a dance floor
– Fireworks at 10 p.m.
– and more!

We’ll also have three food trucks on site for food purchases: Gras Dur, Frit & Gof, and Pickrell’s Ice Cream.

This event is made possible in part by funding graciously provided by the Gouvernement du Québec and the Mouvement national des Québécoises et Québécois.

Ile Perrot

Le 23 juin, on se donne rendez-vous au parc Michel-Martin dès 17 h pour célébrer ensemble la culture et la musique d’ici.

Légende de la chanson québécoise, il présentera Le tour du bloc, un spectacle rétrospectif unique avec une quinzaine de musiciens. Un moment fort à ne pas manquer!

The Fête nationale like never before! 

Join us from for a day packed with music, family fun, delicious food, and a vibrant, festive atmosphere!

Noon to 6 p.m.: Outdoor activities, roaming entertainment, inflatable games, face painting, a small train, a photo booth, and more…
2 p.m.: Dog show with Alexandra Côté (participant at Canada’s Got Talent)
3 p.m.: Tribute to our childhood idols (60s and 70s)
4:15 p.m. and 6 p.m.: Singer Serge Lachapelle
5:30 p.m.: Demonstration by Studio de danse Imperium
7 p.m.: Quebec classics revisited by L’Arsenal
8:30 p.m.: Official ceremony
8:45 p.m.: Break Syndical (tribute to Les Cowboys Fringants)
10:15 p.m.: Spectacular fireworks

Beaconsfield

Join us in the park for an afternoon of inflatable games, an archeological dig, various shows, scientific workshops, food trucks, and more! There is something for both and old, all afternoon long!

In case of rain, the activities will take place at the Recreation Centre, 1974 City Lane.

Fete du Canada (Pierrefonds-Roxboro)

You’ll be delighted by what we’ve put together for you! A great amusement park, a festive and interactive parade, impressive floats and a large-scale show that will get you moving.

What’s more, to bring the event to a memorable close, you’ll be treated to a spectacular fireworks display.

Join us for a jam-packed day of festivities! Enjoy incredible live music from The Rumble Dogs, DJ Cat, Boy Band Story, and Sonic 5. We’re even giving you the chance to have your own success on stage thanks to some karaoke with a live band!

Let the kids bounce and play on inflatable games or enjoy fantastic family activities offered on site. Satisfy your cravings with delicious food trucks and offerings from local restaurants and associations! Lastly, the night will end with a bang with our amazing fireworks.

It’s the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day with your loved ones!

Meet, greet, and take a picture with some of your favourite cartoon characters!

  • 3:25 p.m. to 4:05 p.m.: Mickey Mouse
  • 4:50 p.m. to 5:40 p.m.: Minnie Mouse

Hudson

The party starts at Saint Thomas Park at 1pm and ends with fireworks at 10 pm at Jack Layton Park.

Parking & Boat Ramp Closure

The Jack Layton Park parking lot and boat ramp will be CLOSED on July 1st to prepare for the 10 pm fireworks.

Drop offs will be allowed for individuals with reduced mobility.

Restricted Parking on Nearby Streets

To keep roads clear for emergency vehicles, parking will be restricted to one side only on these streets:

St-Jean

Lakeview (between McNaughten and Cedar)

Mt Pleasant (between Main and Cameron)

Blenkinship (below Main Road)

Wharf Road

There will be no parking allowed on Halcro

Pro Tips for a Smooth Celebration

Park at Saint-Thomas School for day and evening activities.

Limited parking for fireworks is available at the snow dump on Wharf Road.

Beat the rush – arrive early and walk to Jack Layton Park if you can to avoid traffic when leaving.

Bring a flashlight or phone light to help with your walk back on Wharf Road after the fireworks.
