Zoo Ecomuseum

Programming for the whole family

Open all year, the Ecomuseum Zoo allows families in the Greater Montréal area to reconnect with nature and discover Québec’s wildlife in a natural and cozy setting. For Spring Break, the zoo promises fun programming for the whole family!

Five times a day between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm, visitors will be invited to enjoy special presentations featuring a star animal of Québec’s wildlife! This will be an opportunity to learn more about fascinating species such as the gray wolf, the river otter, the arctic fox, the golden eagle or the majestic woodland caribou!

Partnership with the Parc-nature du Cap Saint-Jacques

Throughout Spring Break, the Ecomuseum Zoo is very happy to partner with GUEPE and the Parc-nature du Cap Saint-Jacques for the whole family to enjoy the outdoors!

Upon presentation of a valid visitor’s receipt from the Ecomuseum Zoo, visitors will enjoy a special 2 for 1 promotion on the rental of ski equipment, snowshoes and sleds (subject to equipment availability), managed by GUEPE, at the Parc-nature du Cap Saint-Jacques. A great opportunity to discover the beauty of this Montréal nature park and enjoy a full day of outdoor activities in the West Island! The promotion is applicable from March 4th to March 10th, 2019, inclusively.

About the Ecomuseum Zoo

The one and only exterior zoo on the island of Montréal, the Ecomuseum Zoo has been offering its visitors a unique and natural experience for now 30 years. Open to the public for the first time in 1988, it is operated by the Saint-Lawrence Valley Natural History Society, a not-for-profit organization with a mission centered on animal well-being, education and conservation of species and their habitats. The Ecomuseum Zoo offers the public the opportunity to share intimate glimpses into the lives of many impressive animals native to Québec. The Ecomuseum Zoo is open 364 days per year, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of its 11 hectare site. The Ecomuseum Zoo is accredited by Canada’s Accredited zoos and aquariums (CAZA-AZAC).
