A Fresh Take on the Snow White Story
Forget the fairy tale you remember.
In this inventive stage adaptation by Greg Banks, Snow White is clever, brave, and determined to shape her own destiny.
The production also brings a fun theatrical twist: only two actors play every character in the story — from the Evil Queen to the Huntsman, the Prince, and even all seven dwarves. Quick costume changes, physical comedy, and imaginative staging turn the show into a fast-paced adventure that keeps kids engaged from beginning to end.
Directed by Jimmy Blais, the show blends humour, creativity, and a bit of theatrical magic, making it enjoyable for both kids and parents.
A Great First Theatre Experience for Kids
One of the things parents love about Geordie productions is how welcoming they are for young audiences.
Snow White is recommended for ages 6 and up, making it a great option if you’re looking for:
- a first theatre experience for kids
- a weekend activity for families
- a fun cultural outing in Montreal
The show is performed in English, but French surtitles are displayed throughout the performance, making it accessible for bilingual families and French-speaking audiences as well.
To help make the show accessible to Deaf audiences as well, the performance on April 18 at 1pm will be LSQ interpreted.
