With Winter in full swing, the best memories are created on the hill or on the skating rink. We are working to put together a list of the best sledding hills across the west island. We have listed links to all the cities where you can find info on their skating rinks and whether it’s dedicated to skating or hockey.

Refrigerated Covered Rink in Dorval

The facility hosts a plethora of leisure and family activities year-round. Thanks to its refrigerated surface, a programming for ice sports is offered during the winter, while the rink converts into a multiuse ground for the other three seasons.

Opening hours : Monday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Refrigerated Skating Oval in the Pointe Claire village

Grab your skates and head down to the corner of Cartier and lakeshore where the the beautiful skating oval is set up in a beautiful holiday setting. Grab a hot cocoa or ice cream next door at wild willys. Great fun for the whole family.

Royalmount Outdoor Skating Rink

Discover the magic of winter at ROYALMOUNT’s skating rink, located in the Urban Park. 

Access to the skating rink is free. The rink is open daily from 9 AM to 9 PM, unless the weather does not allow it or it is reserved for a private event. From December 23 to January 1st, the rink will follow ROYALMOUNT’s holiday schedule.

If temperature affects the condition of the ice, the rink will be temporarily closed. To inquire about ice conditions prior to your arrival, contact our concierge team at 514 300-5401 during ROYALMOUNT operating hours.
