Here is what is open and closed on Tuesday June 24th.

Transportation
Société de transport de Montréal (STM) métros and buses will operate on a modified schedule.
Exo trains will run on Sunday schedules.
Réseau express métropolitain (REM) will run during normal opening hours on an off-peak schedule.
-Government offices will be closed on Tuesday. That includes Accès Montréal counters, service counters and courtrooms — with the exception of detainee cases, which will be held at the courthouse on Gosford St.
-Major banks will be closed.
-Canada Post will pause mail collection and delivery on the holiday. Post offices operated by private businesses may be open according to the service hours of the host business.
-City services like garbage, recycling and compost collection will still take place across the city over the holiday. Check your local borough schedule.
-Ecocentres will be open on July 1, on the normal 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. summer schedule.
-City cultural sites, including the Biodôme, Biosphère, Botanical Garden, Insectarium and Planetarium will remain open. All boroughs set their own schedule for sports facilities, pools, arenas, libraries and cultural centres. Check your local borough’s website for more details. Every city has different time schedules for holidays.

Shopping
–SAQ & SQDC
While some will remain open, many SAQ locations will be closed for the day. Meanwhile, all SQDC stores across the province will be closed, so you may want to stock up on bottles and other recreational substances beforehand.
Grocery stores
All Costco and Walmart stores will be closed on July 1. Meanwhile, local grocery chains like IGA, Provigo, Super C, Metro, and Maxi will have varied hours depending on the location. Some may remain open with reduced schedules, while others could be closed altogether.
Shopping centres & big box stores
Expect closures at Carrefour Laval, Eaton Centre, Carrefour Angrignon, Fairview Pointe-Claire. Big box stores like IKEA, Winners, Home Sense, and Canadian Tire will also be closed.
Canada Post
No mail delivery or pickup. Some pharmacy counters may still be open.
