Le Carnaval D’Hiver de Senneville
The Senneville Winter Carnival is back on January 27th, 2024 ! Come and join us at Senneville Park from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and enjoy a variety of activties for the entire family!
There will be interactive games, a cabane a sucre meal, mobile farm and more! You won’t want to miss it!

POINTE-CLAIRE WINTER CARNIVAL
On Saturday, January 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., everyone, kids and adults alike, are invited to Northview Park to take part in the Winter Carnival. On the menu: inflatable games, mobile farm, family skating, craft workshop and more!
Make sure to bring your reusable cup as hot chocolate will be offered on site, and taffy on snow will be sold. A BBQ is organized by the West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped (WIAIH) to sponsor its activities.

KIRKLAND CARNIVAL
Join us on Saturday, January 27 for Kirkland’s Winter Carnival Family Day! Planned activities: sleigh rides, maple taffy, face painting for kids, outdoor and indoor activities and much more! Food and refreshments for sale on site.

Entrance to the site and access to the various activities are free, with the exception of mobile canteens, hot beverage sales and taffy on snow.
Free access to Skieurs de l’Île trails
The Skieurs de l’Île trails will be open to skiers free of charge on Saturday, January 27 only. The trails are accessible via Parc des Frênes on rue des Frênes, boulevard de l’Île at the corner of rue du Suroît, and the Centre de golf Pincourt on avenue Forest. Skiers are asked to bring their own equipment. That said, the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima offers a cross-country ski equipment rental service for children free of charge and at a charge for adults. Dogs are not allowed on Skieurs de l’Île trails.

QUEBEC CITY CARNIVAL 2023
If you don’t know the Carnival yet, it’s time to remedy the situation! Carnival is an outdoor festival that celebrates winter between late January and mid-February. For a period of 10 days, the city is transformed into a snow festival with many decorations, ice sculptures and lights. On the agenda: several activity sites for young and old, a parade of allegorical floats and musical evenings. This is the winter event not to be missed!

WINTERLUDE IN OTTAWA
Celebrate the joys of winter at Winterlude, with three fun-filled weeks in February. Canada’s favourite winter activities are featured across Ottawa and Gatineau at this annual event.
Experience the best the Canadian winter has to offer at the free Winterlude festival that takes place in the Ottawa region during the first three weekends of February each year! There is something for everyone to enjoy, from family-friendly activities, to group adventures and date nights!
Prepare to be astonished by stunning ice sculptures created by artists from around the world, skate on the world-famous Rideau Canal Skateway (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and play around in a gigantic snow playground called Snowflake Kingdom.
CNN Travel just named Ottawa the only Canadian destination to visit in 2023! The article highlights the renowned Rideau Canal Skateway, which is just a short walk from the downtown Ottawa Winterlude location.
Winterlude activities highlight Canada’s cultural and artistic diversity. Urban sites, museums and special events present seasonal programming as well as opportunities to connect with Indigenous culture. Most festival activities are free and take place in the Urban Ottawa-Gatineau region. Don’t miss Canada’s annual Winterlude festival in Canada’s capital!

Plaisirs D’Hiver – Notre dame de L’ile Perrot

Even though the temperatures have dropped below zero, staying at home is not an option when our landscape is covered with beautiful snow!
