SOS Labrynthe (Montreal)
The Old Port of Montreal’s Hangar 16 is over 105 years old! SOS Labyrinthe celebrates this historical icon throughout its theming.
According to our legend… In 1942, two young apprentices named Stevie and Mayday start working as longshoremen at Hangar 16. They spend their lives moving and storing tons of cargo and merchandise.
As years go by, the Hangar 16 longshoremen witness many historic events about Montreal and the St. Lawrence River… And they collect many objects related to these historic moments, objects they lovingly call the treasures of the longshoremen.
When Hangar 16 closes down in the 1970s, Stevie and Mayday become its day-and-night watchmen and permanent occupants… And with the passage of time, they are completely forgotten! But they have not forgotten their treasures of the longshoremen, and they want you to know about them and their stories.
Now over 90 years old, our two mischievous companions have transformed Hangar 16 into a gigantic maze very hard to navigate, full of challenges and dead-ends.
And each summer, they select 4 objects from the treasures of the Longshoremen and challenge you to find them!
Where: Hangar 16, Old Port of Montreal, Clock Tower Pier
Time: 11am to 6pm
Cost: Costs vary depending on age. Visit the site for more info

The Haunted Trail (Dorval)
In 1903, Anna disappeared in the most nebulous conditions and we never saw her again… Since then, every 20 years, a person disappears in a strange way in the basement of the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre, in the small village of Dorval. The legend says that Anna, out of a thirst for revenge, is responsible for these most bizarre and disturbing disappearances… It also seems that several paranormal and unexplained activities have been observed in the basement of the Community Centre. The janitor has witnessed scary apparitions and employees working evenings often hear spooky noises and screams in the lower reaches of the building. A company specializing in paranormal activities was hired a few years ago to put an end to these supernatural manifestations that terrify and frighten Dorval residents. This company had to leave the premises abruptly a few hours after its arrival when one of the employees of the team experienced a terrible nervous shock. Suffering from a strange illness, this man isolated himself in a gloomy house to the west of the city and never spoke to anyone again…
This year, Dorval citizens will gather at the SDCC to commemorate the missing persons. Everyone will be holding their breath, not knowing who the next victim will be as we have reached the year 2023… Will you dare leave your home? Are you ready to face your biggest fears? Will you succeed in unravelling the mystery that has been terrifying your village for so many years? Never stand still and never walk alone, because who knows who will be next on the list…
Reservation
For those who wish, it will be possible to reserve a time slot between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., to avoid waiting in line.
▶ For Dorval residents: As of Monday, September 25, at 8:30 a.m., online or in person at the SDCC, the Surrey Aquatic and Community Centre, or the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex, during regular opening hours
▶ For non-residents: As of Monday, October 2, at 8:30 a.m., online or in person at the SDCC, the Surrey Aquatic and Community Centre, or the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex, during regular opening hours
→ If you have booked a timeslot, please arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to your chosen departure time to ensure smooth running of the event.
Note that it will only be necessary to register if you want to reserve a time slot. For those who simply wish to show up on the day of the event, it will be possible to do so between 8:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. We accept 24 participants per 15-minute time slot. Admission is free.
Please note that participants can wait inside the SDCC, in the room S-023 located near the entrance of the haunted trail.
