Here is what is open and closed on Wednesday June 24th.

Transportation
Many STM bus schedules will be modified. Consult stm.info for specific timetables.
The REM will operate on a Sunday schedule.
Exo trains will operate on Sunday schedules. This means no service on the Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Candiac and Mascouche lines. Exo buses, including REM shuttles, will operate on Saturday schedules.
The RTL in Longueuil and STL in Laval will follow a Sunday schedule for bus services.
Government
Government offices will be closed. That includes Accès Montréal service counters. Many municipal services will still be available online, but the city says requests submitted on the holiday will not be processed until Thursday.
Courtrooms will be closed, with the exception of Courtroom R.40 at 775 Gosford St., where arraignment hearings for detainees are held. The municipal court call centre will also be closed.
Waste collections — including household waste, residential construction, renovation, and demolition waste, bulky items, recyclables, food waste, yard waste, and leaves — that normally take place on Wednesdays will continue as scheduled in all boroughs. Additionally, depending on the borough, extra collections for bulky items and construction, renovation, and demolition waste are deployed during the moving season.
Recycling centers will also be open during normal summer hours, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sports and cultural facilities have varying opening hours depending on the borough. Residents are encouraged to directly contact the facilities’ staff before visiting.
Users of libraries and cultural centres are asked to check with their local facilities for holiday opening hours.
Shopping
Major shopping centres will be closed, including Eaton Centre, Carrefour Angrignon, and Rockland Mall, Fairview Shopping Mall, Galleries des Sources etc.
Large commercial stores, including most grocery stores, will be closed. Pharmacies and stores under 4,000 square feet may remain open. It varies with store to store- but most are closed.
All SAQ and SQDC locations will be closed.
Major banks will be closed.
Canada Post
No mail delivery or pickup. Some pharmacy counters may still be open.
The Biodôme, the Biosphère, the Botanical Garden, the Insectarium, and the Planetarium are all open. The city recommends visitors buy tickets online in advance.
